My son was very happy with it. He would like them even if they don't fit, I mean they're on fire trucks. They are true to size. They feel very comfortable in my hand. They're basic but there's some padding where needed, the straps feel strong and the velcro is good quality and doesn't look like it's coming loose and the straps lose structure. The quality is such that I believe these will be in very good condition when he grows out of them.
