This monitor is really beautiful and great for gaming. Games work really well on this screen. I'm also very impressed with the built in speakers and think they sound very good. This is my first PC OLED screen and while I really like it, there are a few things I think need improvement. The size pushes it towards common tabletop use. It makes my Acer Predator X34 look small. I have a Galant table from Ikea with a few extra sections so my table is huge. Even with my large desk, this monitor really pushes towards normal desktop use. I think 40 or 42 inches would be more appropriate. They made it so that the stand doesn't take up much space behind the monitor so you can push it really far, about as close as you would with a wall mount, but it's still not enough. I run the zoom at 100% on Windows and I can read everything just fine because it's so big. Auto dimming is something you'll have to get used to. As I sit and type this, the screen slowly dims. The use of pixel offset is also noticeable because it takes up part of my scrollbar or places the window's close button right in the corner of the screen. Things like this are very noticeable when you watch from a regular LCD screen. To some this may seem unsuitable for use as a single screen or primary monitor. The USB hub is unusable for me. Neither my keyboard nor my webcam work when connected to it. I get low power notifications for each of these devices when I connect them to a monitor, but that hasn't happened to any other PC, laptop, or hub I've tried them on. I am using a Geforce 3080 12GB monitor set to 120Hz. I get brightness pulses on screens with a lot of gray. Once it happened so badly that the monitor went off and on again. If I switched to something else with less gray it would stop. I'm not sure what's going on there, but I intend to get a better DisplayPort cable and see if that solves the problem. Some settings are really confusing. I couldn't find the full manual on LG's US site, but I did find it on the Australian site. Even with that, I couldn't figure out how to fully control the settings. When adjusting the image, I have the gray values "Contrast", "Gamma", "Color Temperature", "R/G/B" and "Black Stabilizer". I've tried changing the mode to access them, but I still haven't figured it out, which is weird for me because I don't usually have trouble understanding things like this. So maybe it's not me. I would like the remote control to be backlit, because it is sometimes difficult to see in low light and there is not enough contrast between the colors of the buttons and letters. Overall I really like playing it. I probably wouldn't recommend it as a main PC display, but it works well as a secondary gaming display. Update 11/16: I received a new VESA certified Club3D DP cable which did not fix the ripple on gray screens. This most commonly occurs when browsing Reddit in dark mode and reading comments on posts.
