Review on 🔧 ACDelco GM Original Equipment 580-354 Rear Shock Absorber Kit: Enhanced Suspension Solution for Optimal Performance by Tom Plowman

Got the last opened box of this item. Both shocks were in mint condition, repackaged but with new equipment and perfectly matched. They look, feel and perform like Original Equipment GM shock absorbers. Although my list of options is slightly different from the original, they still work like the originals. Meaning TWx, ZWx. or TSx model option numbers may differ from the original numbers (the model number is located on the glove box door) but will work properly. Do they come as a pair and fit 2001 and 2007 models? The shocks are designed for vehicles with premium Silverado, Tahoe, and Suburban suspension, known as Nivomat (or self-levelling); My glove box code was ZW7 (for the shock absorber variant). These are large and heavy super shock absorbers as they work in unison with the car's springs. If you try to use heavy car shock absorbers, you will also need to replace them with heavier springs or a coil system or both. These shocks restored my 2001 Tahoe's alignment and brought back a firm, reliable ride like new. Overall braking is also improved as these dampers keep the car level without nose-diving under braking (I can't stress enough how much braking has improved). Great value as other sites and stores were in the $250 range each.
