I am a 28 year old adult female. I'm 5ft 10" tall and as someone not as young and recovering as I used to be, I knew I needed protective gear as I began my long landing journey. I used to eat grass and the first thing that hit the ground was my knee and then I rolled, but the knee pad took all the impact. And about 3 weeks ago the skateboard flew out from under me and I hit the ground but the first thing that hit was the balls of my wrists. No pain and I was perfectly fine thanks to him. The rest of my body lay on the floor unharmed because of the wrist rest. I also like their aesthetics. Makes me feel cool and trendy. I think it's a worthwhile purchase. They have scratches but they still work and stay in place. I would definitely buy it again for others who need it too
