Putting deer in the truck was a problem when hunting alone. After my wrist surgery, I realized I needed a better option. I ordered this to install on the back of my Ford Expedition and it works great! When I go hunting it fits in a truck (I wouldn't get far with this, maybe a little more than 2 lanes but that's it, it's easier to just carry it). Assembling the three main parts was mostly easy, only the vertical part with the winch required an extra pair of hands to tighten the bolts. When I got a decent 8 point deer this year, I drove to the truck, towed the deer, hooked it up to the bumper hitch in about 3 minutes and was on the road with the deer within minutes. Initial assembly can take an hour but in the field 3 minutes max to put the pieces together and then don't break a sweat and anyone can do it. Highly recommend if you are hunting alone and need to stop by. I hope to try this out on a bear in the years to come!
