Don't expect high resolution.
Suitable for connecting a laptop to an old projection TV. When using a video cable (yellow), text is blurry and difficult to read. I couldn't use this for a permanent monitor solution, but it works for watching online videos from the comfort of your couch. One thing to note is that on my Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 64-bit, whenever I set the TV as the only active monitor, it gets blurry and duplicated. I'm not sure why. The solution was to keep the laptop monitor active. However, this product has the highest resolution support I've found compared to others on Revain.
