Bought this little converter on Feb 13th. it was delivered quickly and worked well. One thing is that it's not high definition. I used to use an HDMI port on my laptop, but now it's broken (*um, cheap HP brand*), I have to resort to this thing. This product does what it promises.

This product tries to solve a difficult technical problem and it seems to work, but there are things to tweak and I found it a bit crap for professional use I would try to bite the bullet and get something with better tech. except that I don't know if there is better technology and at what price.

Suitable for connecting a laptop to an old projection TV. When using a video cable (yellow), text is blurry and difficult to read. I couldn't use this for a permanent monitor solution, but it works for watching online videos from the comfort of your couch. One thing to note is that on my Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 64-bit, whenever I set the TV as the only active monitor, it gets blurry and duplicated. I'm not sure why.
