Will not work with 16gague
Product packaging and documentation says this will work with 16 gauge speaker wire - it does not. The smaller compression ring, which is designed to put pressure on the cable when the case is closed, doesn't even touch the shield of the 16-gauge cable. VERY light pressure displaces the 16 gauge wire which installs exactly as instructed. It may work for 14 gauge and thicker, but 16 gauge is false advertising.
