This is very similar to the monster cable version. 5 stars for overall value. My only complaint is that the rubber cap on the torsion screw is not as tight as it is on the WBT cleats.

Recently purchased from Best Buy, overly complex design, wires kept slipping out despite using the cable ties provided. I will never use this again.

Product packaging and documentation says this will work with 16 gauge speaker wire - it does not. The smaller compression ring, which is designed to put pressure on the cable when the case is closed, doesn't even touch the shield of the 16-gauge cable. VERY light pressure displaces the 16 gauge wire which installs exactly as instructed. It may work for 14 gauge and thicker, but 16 gauge is false advertising.

This is an order summary from ELECTRONICS WAREHOUSE: I ordered three different sets of Rocket Fish banana plugs (used) through Revain. Only those from ELECTRONICS WAREHOUSE seem older to me. This is probably the style I've read complaints about. I found them wider and required the use of a plastic plug (compared to the better version which is narrower and easier to install). I am not comparing this to other products on the market as it is the only product I have tried, I am new to making my own cables. .I immediately understood the simple instructions and they worked on the first try and created a much more secure connection. I am confident that they provided an immediate improvement in sound clarity over my poor quality attempt at putting the wires through a drilled hole in the stand and bending them with screws.
