Broke on the first try.
I bought these to add to an old set I've had for many years. This first movement was mostly lost over time. I had high hopes from reviews that mentioned thinning hair that these new ties would work, but they didn't. The hooks are too open and clumsy to catch thin hair.2. The elastic is so tight and short that wrapping it around is not enough to hold it.3. The first one broke after about 30 seconds when I was trying to curl my hair. Not a very good design and terrible quality.
