I used them to attach the bumper to the car so the trunk doesn't dent the bumper anymore. It's thick enough to hold my 30 lb bike rack and two 20 lb bikes (70 lbs total) on these pads without denting the bumper. The only problem is they come with horrible tape. If you want to use them to stick on your car, YOU NEED TO BUY YOUR OWN TAPE. I recommend 3M double-sided tape. The adhesion supplied with these bumpers lasts a maximum of one month. Especially when it rains, they will surely fall off your car.
