So we don't lie. I had a lot of problems with this thing initially, but it was user error. I've tried many times and even tried changing the battery but to no avail and my locks just shot like they were locked. It turns out that's what he's supposed to do. What I didn't realize was that after the initial lock tone, I had to press the 'close' button again to actually program the remote into the machine. Oops. (Maybe this will help anyone who made the same mistake I did!) Once I figured it out, the car locked and unlocked perfectly and the trunk opened like magic. The panic button works too. I got this car for my birthday and the dealer didn't give us a remote control for it so I trusted it to really work. My car is a 2000 Honda Accord EX v6 and I'm very happy that I don't have to worry about locking my keys in the car. Highly recommend, it's cheap and easy to replace and if I ever need one I'll definitely order another.
