Good bottles but not the best customer service

I gave 3 points because the bottles are ok I mean how can you ruin a bottle. They've been making milk bottles for a very long time. However, I was a bit surprised by the customer service. My cat knocked one of the lids off the counter and my dog ate it. I needed a new one and contacted support. I wrote what I said above but added that this is a true story because we've all heard the story about the dog eating homework. I thought it was funny. Anyway, they sent me a link to buy 2 bottle caps for $4.99 with the comment "This is an unusual story". Okay I guess I expected too much, I really thought they would just send me a bottle cap(s) maybe with a link in case it happens again. I understand if it happened again it would be on me for not being more careful. I believe a good customer service would laugh at that and offer a new cap for free. I mean if I broke a bottle I would most likely go back to this company and buy new bottles because they were fair when I had the problem. But now I will never go back to this company, there are others who make milk bottles and as I said how difficult it is, they have been made for decades, the production process needs to be well tested. in the meantime. I know there will be people who will think I shouldn't have expected anything, but we are talking about customer service in an era of social media and massive competition. The bottle cap should be re-evaluated in favor of great customer service, good reviews and hopefully more purchases. I think their concern about the cost per bottle cap was just stupid of them. Goodbye, Stan-Pack and Libby's milk bottles.
