Review on Water Softener Ring Seal 4 Pack by Jessie Drury
Everything was fine but silicone grease was required
O-rings arrived on time in good condition; no complaints. I used them to replace two old o-rings in the bypass valve on my Kenmore water softener (model 625.388160). Before replacing the o-rings it was leaking at the joint and after installing it was still leaking. After reading another review and searching for more, this time I installed them with *silicone grease* (not hydrocarbon grease) smeared onto the o-rings. The leak has been fixed!
