Time will tell but they are very light and not very strong. I bought them primarily for running and road cycling and they serve really well on those fronts. These lenses do a great job of bringing out detail on the road. They are much lighter to a human than the faded color in an advertisement. The soft case and case are nice additions and really nice to have. I usually run in Goodr sunglasses and I'm not sure if they're worth the extra $150, but I had a gift card and I hope it was well spent.
