After 1 week the thing went into uncontrolled charging mode I turned it off when the voltage reached 16.9 and it kept rising. I returned it for a refund. and will not buy another Schumacher. BTW I have 6 Schumacher units all with variations on part number 1562 and they have all worked great for many years. All these vintage devices are checked from time to time and work perfectly. If you have 1319, take out your meter and check it. Turn it off and keep the light on for a while until the battery drops below 13, then turn the floater back on and watch the voltage. The charge light should go out at 14.5 and the green light should come on, then the battery should drop to 13.3 and stay there for a very long time before the charge light comes on again. Schumacher's tech support was no help.
