Bought this unit for hiking. Checked before leaving, works as expected. He used it when camping to charge special batteries and start a small oxygen machine. Worked great for 2 hours. I noticed that the battery is dead. I turned off the device and connected it to a different battery to continue using the device. The device never turned on. The green power light just kept flashing. There is no information about this in the manual. Since this device would no longer turn on, we had to abort the trip as we could not use the necessary oxygen device. Returned the device and refunded the money but still lost the money on a non-refundable trip. After further research on various other sites, I see that others are having the same issue with this brand. Needless to say, I would not recommend this product as Bestek inverters seem to have a spontaneous failure rate. I put up with it and bought another brand with better performance for just a few bucks more and it performed a lot better than this unit.
