I've been working from home for 5 or 6 years and wanted to upgrade my office chair. I searched, read and researched for over a year and finally settled on this one. After using this for 3 weeks I am now using my old office chair (which is EXTREMELY uncomfortable) but feels like heaven compared to this new chair. This chair did nothing for my back pain or sciatica no matter how I adjusted it. And I had to push my lower back all the way forward and as soon as I got this set it broke - couldn't adjust anymore. Everything about this chair is uncomfortable and definitely not ergonomic. Now I'll probably spend another year (maybe two?) trying to find a decent office chair—it doesn't cost as much as my mortgage payment. It might work for occasional computer work, but if you're at your desk 11-18 hours a day, this chair won't work. I waited with him for a full three weeks before rolling him into my empty spare room and closing the door so I didn't have to look at him another second. VERY bad buy.
