This is the best non-crow version of the collar I've found here at Revain so far. (Tried 3 versions) It's strong and wide enough to work well. The length is perfect for a normal sized hen or rooster. I'm not sure about the bantam breed. They also have decent instructions in the ad on how to place the collar. Not too high in the throat, but not too low in the throat. It should be right in the airbag that the hen fills with air just before crowing. Your springs keep it in place so it doesn't slip off. So when you put it on, pick up the springs and put it on the airbag. Remember to leave a finger space between collar and neck. I have two Rhode Island red hens that scream and cluck SO LOUD that they let them out of the coop in the morning. VERY INTERESTING! This collar works and reduces the scream volume to normal. Additional Note: When purchasing Rhode Island chickens for your backyard, only purchase RIs that were ancestrally bred. They are quieter and more docile compared to the "production" RIs which are aggressive and very loud. I can fully recommend this product. (Please note: This is NOT a paid or free product review)
