I bought this when my other one broke out of 6 inches of snow. This thing is strong. You can tell it's well made and not some cheap crap you get at Wal Mart. I thought the ones I bought at the auto parts store were fine until I bought this one. And then where is the same price. Don't risk damaging your car, use this and the rubber seal will do the job. You can be stopped and fined if you don't clean the top of your car. We have an SUV and it will easily come out on top. The top is firm which is good because everything I had always broke. I really think it will last for years.
