I bought this GPS unit to pinpoint the exact location of my telescope. I also did limited geocaching (4 caches) and was able to find all four caches. This appears to be much more accurate than the literature and testimonies suggest. I like the small size (fits easily in your pocket) and the intuitive interface. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive model. However, I bought mine from Revain for $69.99 and got a $20 discount. With free shipping, no taxes, no discounts, I bought my Geko 101 for 49.99. This price is hard to beat. I think this is a great entry level GPS module. If you're not sure how much use you'll get from your GPS device, the Geko 101 could be for you.
