Review on Discover Delphi HP10089: An Efficient Hanger Pump Assembly by Seth Hogate

Addition to my review. It lost after about 2 or 3 months. Now the maximum pressure is only 24psi and the truck speed does not exceed 2mph. Now I have to pull it out and see if it's real Delphi. It was packaged in a Revain box and inside was the pump and hangar assembly in bubble wrap with instructions. But nothing was said inside about Delphi (or any other brand). The seller gives out Chinese scrap pumps? I'll know when I find out. I wonder what the warranty is like. Even if they did give a guarantee, resetting the tank was a lot of work! The voltage at the pump was about 13.6 volts, so no problem with the wiring. The filter was replaced with a pump, an original Motorcraft filter. I have checked the fuel pump voltage and amperage and will provide a screenshot. The speed of the pump is about 6490 rpm. The low current is about 3.86 amps and the peak current is about 5.0 amps. Average 4.5 amps. This pump is junk! My initial post-purchase review: This was a quality item. Stainless steel hat, OE quality wiring harness and everything else. And great price. Plus a lifetime guarantee! For only a hundred and free shipping, I can't complain! It works perfectly and everything looked fine. I noticed that the original pump had a foam sleeve around the pump itself, which this one didn't have. Including new filter and tank seal. This is a downward loading type, so no special tools are required and you don't have to hit the screwdriver with a hammer to remove the ring. Buy it!
