Review on Frying pan AMT Gastroguss medium Diamond Crystal, removable handle, diameter 28 cm by Celina Kaczmarek ᠌

In general, it's pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

I regret having to provide such a critique. Excellent pan and coating! However, there is a clear disadvantage. The challenge is in securing the pan's handle snap mechanism. In July of 2022, I made a purchase at the Hoff store on Kutuzovsky Prospekt 57 in Hong Kong, where they feature a number of high-priced pans from this brand. A week after the purchase, I noticed some rust on the attachment bolt. I emailed the company in Germany where it was made to inquire why, after only a week, the product, which was advertised to last for decades, was rusted all over. A bushing and a bolt were delivered as part of the "repair kit" they sent in response. After a week in the frying pan, he made no adjustments. I remember that I never used anything save water, soap, and a sponge to clean anything, and that the bolt was always left securely screwed in. From what did the rust develop? The problem is probably a tiny crevice at the mount's base that lets water seep inside and pool around the bolt, causing the latter to rust. Engineers, huh? A problem in production due to the inappropriate alloy (rusty steel) utilized for the fasteners? I recommend learning more about the mount's condition after a year of use. What happened a year ago in the dark photos, and what happened a year later in the light photos. Due to its usefulness, I refrained from visiting the store, but the company's "world's best pan" tagline persisted in the silt. It looks like it's time to break out the patching materials.

Pros
  • Excellent non-stick finish
Cons
  • Attaching the pan's handle-snap attachment mechanism
