Review on Pet Gear Stairs Portable Lightweight Cats by Veronica Williams

Fantastic steps. Sturdy enough for my 100 lb dog

First thing I will say. NOT FOR HUMAN USE. They will bend and collapse if a person (over 120 pounds, maybe even less because you're only standing on two legs) tries to scale them. But it's great for dogs. My bed is 30cm high or so and it fits perfectly. It was the tallest bed I could find. Bunk bed, I'm worried that jumping from it will hurt her back. I had to remind them and give them an incentive to use steps, and I still do sometimes because, well, they're dogs, but they're awesome, and once your dog learns to use them and trust them, there is a much lower risk of injury for them. My two dogs are 100lb and 40lb. The 40 lb dog got used to it much quicker and uses it more often. But the 100 lb dog has also been using them alone lately. A larger dog may sway a bit, which is probably one of the reasons he was slower up the stairs. I would recommend using something heavy in the steps (hollow), like bricks, which used to prevent them from swinging or sliding. Originally I wanted a ramp. But all the ramps are much longer than this one and aren't 30" I'm very glad I ended up going for them, although I was skeptical at first. It only took 10 minutes to assemble. Pretty easy.
