This Spring '15 I did my annual oil change on my Vulcan 900 and used this filter, replacing the same one I had last year. After that I took my bike for a long ride; no problems, leaks, whatever. I drove over 5000 miles with this Fram filter last season. No problem. I used to use a K&N filter that cost twice as much. That was good too. The KN's only advantage is that it has a handle so it can be removed with a simple mechanical key, while the Fram does not. But after lubricating the rubber gasket on the filter, tighten it by hand. Filter---no wrench required. I believe this is enough to deliver a good print. I did this last year and as I said after over 5,000 and 5 months of winter sitting I was able to remove it by hand. So all in all I'm happy with Fram.
