These 5-inch hose clamps fit best on a 4-inch dryer vent
After reading reviews on how some verified buyers had difficulty installing 4-inch hose clamps on their 4-inch dryer vent. I bought the 5-inch ones and am glad I did. Why? These blue plastic toggles on these clamps makes installation of flexible aluminum hose from 4-inch dryer vent to 4-inch wall exhaust pipe easy. Now it’s possible to pull my dryer away from the wall to vacuum behind dryer without the flexible aluminum dryer hose detaching from either the dryer or the wall.
- I’ve never used a clamp before. Worked great. Very easy with the attached tightened.
- The adjustable size range might not be accurate enough for some applications, resulting in leaks
