Review on 🐴 Cavallo Simple Hoof Boot for Horses in Black: Comfortable and Protective Footwear by Tim Wadman

I bought these for my mare QH who is 31 years old and has hoof problems. Her hoof is 5 inches long so fits a size 3. The length was perfect and they look fine unlined but you can get the lining separately which I need. BUT the width was too wide and I didn't realize they sell narrower boots. If your horse's hoof is two sizes or more narrower than its length, you need to buy narrow boots. So I had to return this shoe but returning it was so easy and free. UPS came to my house to pick them up and we live remotely so that helped a lot. There is a video on YouTube about measuring trunk size. I've since learned that most Quarter Horses need tight boots, as do some other breeds. I also have an Appaloosa and this boot would fit her in width but she would need a much shorter length.
