Easy setup, eliminate dead zones, but you have limited firmware speed on the satellite.

I contacted Netgear Support before I did this have written. I have 20 years of networking experience. Pros setup is easy. If you need more satellites from other packages, you can easily add them. It's through a website. The coverage and dead zone elimination is great. Satellite satellites have software-based Wi-Fi speed limits of up to 40-60% of the ISP's speed. Only sometimes. Application The application is good, but there will be work breaks. The free trial security add-on can only be disabled from the phone app. You cannot disable this security through the web management portal. n pin on the back. Additional security can cause problems, so I disabled it. WiFi performance is disappointing. You can only get 100% of your ISP's WiFi speed when you're close to your main router. Satellite only gives you 40-60% of the speed of your ISP. This has been confirmed by Netgear technical support. It's firmware, not hardware. You can have a satellite 5 feet from the main line, the satellite has 5 lanes and a 1200 Mbps link between it and the main line. if your device is on satellite, 60% ISP speed at best. If you get 240 Mbps over Wi-Fi through the main or leased line, you'll get 100-144 Mbps. Netgear support told me if I want more satellite speed buy more ISP speed and it will go up. If you operate 2 devices at the same time, they share 100-144Mbps between themselves.
