For the price and purpose of being blank it does the job however if you are looking for a panel that is the same black color as Yours has other gears or the stand itself, it's not like that (see photo). The first image shows a 2U panel next to a 4U black rack drawer, and the second image shows a 1U panel (from the same manufacturer) next to the black portion of a rack shelf. The difference is pretty obvious. They appear black in certain lighting conditions, but when you place them next to other devices that are black, they stand out. Luckily, the alternating hues between this panel (which I'd rather describe as a dark gray) and my hardware, which is black, look nice, but if you're a stickler when it comes to getting all your stuff together, you'll probably want to move on look for another panel. .
