We installed at the entrance of our department this week. This antenna is not properly designed. The threaded portion that connects to ground on the coaxial cable is NOT isolated from the positive (antenna) portion of the device. I saw this when I bought it, but assumed it wasn't necessary (I'm a POA rep, which means I'm a freelancer, not an expert). Our gate openers didn't work!. Nothing! Although the old antenna is tired, I connected it to the new cable and the gate controller works fine. It's garbage. save your money
