This is the same type of paper used for wedding invitations and special occasions. I can see through paper, although it's more like fog. I printed the image onto thick card stock and then glued a piece of this parchment onto it. The printed image below looked just enough to be elegant. The weight is not as heavy as regular paper but thicker than tracing paper. You can actually print on parchment, but this roll will require you to cut it. I also use this for various art projects around the house, the price is good.
