30mm bore is for 1 1/8" steerer tube. Used with vintage Cane Creek S3 steering column. No vendor lists any crown races available for S3 but this is the only one. Genuine Cane Creek product, ready to ship immediately. Order to install it you don't have to go to the store or buy an expensive park tool. Go to a hardware store and buy 1 1/4" ID (at least 2 feet) PVC pipe. I bought a 5 foot -Length for about $3.50 The 1 1/4" fits over the 1 1/8" steerer and fits perfectly with the clevis. Use a soft mallet and tap on it. Also put some good quality lube on the Steering column on where the race is going to be so you have an opportunity to take it off one day if you need to, if you don't then water will get in there it will corrode and this will actually weld the race to the tube and you can never get by without it to destroy.
