Overall this is amazing. It gently removes almost all residual water from washed fruit and vegetables. If it weren't for the surgery you have to have when it's time to get under the covers I would have given it five stars. You cannot submerge this item in dishwater or put it in the dishwasher as it will trap water in the lid. The design does not allow to open the lid without 30 minutes of effort. I hope they revise and fix it. Otherwise, you have to be content with a spinner that really cannot be cleaned of dust or other particles that accidentally get into the lid. If you're content with washing your salad bowl 94% clean instead of 100%, this is a great tool to add to your arsenal.
