this item is very well-made, heavy duty. There is just one small issue with assembly. On mine I had to use 1/4 inch drill bit to clean out the holes on the Board/kayak support arms. The spring loaded buttons would not fully engage the arms which could present a dangerous situation in that when the board or kayak was slid off the arm the arm could come off of its post and hit you in the head! It was an easy fix just holding the quarter inch drill bit in my hand and reaming out the holes of burrs or paint buildup.Otherwise very well-made and exactly what I needed.
