Smells best in kitchen sanitary ware
When it arrived it smelled very strongly of plastic. I continued cleaning the pipe but the smell lingered. I wanted to boil the tube but there was a small plastic nozzle at the end so I didn't want to risk it. I drop a whistle in the water hoping the smell will eventually dissipate, but now I need to use up my plastic-tasting water. I don't know if that helps, but I don't want to waste my 5 gallons of water. Hopefully the smell will dissipate over time but I'm not sure if it's food grade or if it's even food grade silicone.
