This is a very good little inexpensive welder that is suitable for many purposes. I'm not a professional but I can cook. I've used it with the Flux core on things so thin it shouldn't have worked, but I was impressed by its wide range of settings. I have also used it to weld 3/8" diameter plates and it has shown excellent results as well. With a little care and common sense I expect it to last a long time! The kit included everything you need to start welding. The duty cycle seems good even for a lightweight welder. I would buy again. I ran it on 220 volts.
