Review on Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 SUV 225/60 R18 104T winter by Mateusz Maycha ᠌

Not exactly the product I wanted, the price and quality do not match.

drove a Hyundai Tussan with front-wheel drive for a full year. Size R16 215/65. Rubber tires are plainly not meant for the track, as they are exceedingly noisy (or, more accurately, you rapidly tire of driving them), they are unstable at speeds over 100 miles per hour in my car, and they do not like ruts. The good news is that it rows smoothly in all conditions and is virtually silent on dirty streets. Those who spend most of their time on less-than-pristine roads but take the interstate only sometimes can benefit from what I have to say. You should switch out your rubber before hitting the track.

Pros
  • Long-lasting, rows competently even in mud, and brakes predictably even at city speeds. No spikes were lost all season long.
Cons
  • - noisy. absolutely not! All 4 bearings seemed to be broken when I first placed it on. It quieted down a bit after being ran, but was still quite loud on the freshly swept track. Negatives: - doesn't like the rut very much beyond 100 mph; - I'd blame my car and front-wheel drive, but this wasn't the case on the old bald tires.
