I wanted metal for durability, but it is heavier to hold. Not the seller's fault. Just something I hadn't thought about.Every time I change the setting, water pours out of all different holes, everywhere. (Not from where it's connected to the hose, but from the holes in the sprayer.) I have found a way around this by shutting the water flow first. A pain, but it's better than getting my feet all wet.The full and the jet are virtually identical.The vertical, shower and flat settings drip water. Not good.The fan and angle settings are more of a mist. It has power, but any breeze carries the water away. My plastic one had more power on that setting.I do like that it seems more powerful, in general (except for the angle/fan settings).The dial is harder to turn then my plastic one. Hopefully, that will loosen up in time.My actual rating is a 3 1/2.
