Bought for great 21:9 gaming and general desktop use. Fully calibrated from the factory, leave the color settings alone for the most part. 109 dpi, like Acer Predator X34. Good built in speakers for general use that actually sound good if you take off your headphones and click YouTube. The on-screen menu is very intuitive and offers many well-organized options. The 1900R curve is great and immerses you. Movies look great on it too, there are no black bars on 21:9 content which is used for 90% of movies. The stand is very stable, doesn't wobble, looks like it's bolted to my desk. It does have some backlight bleed through, but that's a trade-off for any IPS panel that offers wider viewing angles. this price range. Fortunately, in 3417 it is minimal. Note: To really enjoy 3440 x 1440p (60Hz) gaming on High/Ultra settings, you probably need a powerful GPU. I would recommend at least a GTX 1070. The Witcher 3 and Skyrim look absolutely amazing on the 3417. Words can't describe it, it's a little more addictive to the world. Leave the monitor's response time at "normal" as the "fast" setting seems to cause ghosting in high-contrast scenes. All in all a very solid 21:9 monitor. I was nervous, as I'm sure you are, but I don't regret any purchases that have been on my wish list for over 8 months. At 21:9 there is no turning back.
