Review on 🔩 Steel Flat Washer Pack - B009OJIH7G, ASME B18.22.1, 1/4" Screw Size, 9/32" ID, 5/8" OD, 0.065" Thick (100-Pack) by Jeremy Monroe

As others have written these things arrive covered in grease. I washed them first in a small amount of boiling water and a large amount of Comet, then wiped, then wiped each one with alcohol. I can't use expensive solvents, but alcohol works, just toss them in a full bowl, take them out and wipe them down one at a time. They stick to the magnets which is what I wanted and I painted one side with acrylic paint. I use them as the back of my pins and want one side to be pretty. In addition, they are definitely made of stainless steel, otherwise they would have rusted on me by now. CAUTION: Use only rags, disposable bowls and gloves, the grease leaves the washing machines but where it goes next, it stays forever.
