Speeds up bulb planting. This year I plan to plant about 700 flower bulbs to decorate our garden. This auger is useful for drilling holes. The only problem is that the hole size is 1.6 inch which is too big for some small bulbs like anemone etc. The bulbs should stay upright when dropped, and the larger hole means they're likely to fall at an angle.
