I liked it for the price and large capacity, but it came with a cracked glass. The packaging was perfect, maybe that's just the appeal. Anyway, I opted for the stainless steel. If it wasn't for the tear I would have liked it because of the size. Update: After returning the broken kettle, Stariver contacted me and sent me a replacement free of charge. Got a replacement and was excited to use it. Rinse and fill with water and immediately began to leak from the bottom. Very disappointed. I used to give this product 3 stars because of its price and size, but now I'm giving it 2 stars mainly for the customer service efforts (free replacement shipping). In general, this product should not be sold until the problem has been corrected and revised.
