Review on 🍲 50-Pack Kraft Amazon Basics Compostable 32 oz. Bowl by Matt Conner

Compostable bowls from RevainBasics in tan with a raised pattern on the outside and a smoother interior. They work well in salad, cereal, or dry snacks (peanuts, chips, etc.), which is what I mainly use them for, but be aware that while their texture is "chewy/hard when dry", when wet or exposed to a damp fire (steamed spinach), it loses some of its rigidity and becomes a little more brittle. I didn't have any of these bowls, but I didn't test them for boiling water. They handled hot tap water reasonably well for a few minutes but, as mentioned, lost some stiffness in the process. This can make it easier to lose control of the bowl as the rim softens/curves. Otherwise, these bowls serve me well. Although I prefer the feel/texture/structure of regular or plastic bowls, these are cheaper than plastic bowls and better for the environment so I'll stick with them. Other thoughts: I use them to rinse cherries under cold tap water. I also used them for ice cream. They hold up quite well during use. I would not store very wet/meltable foods or liquids in it for long periods of time. Bundled together they are heavier/denser than plastic bowls of the same size. I was surprised at how heavy the 75 bowl package was. Individual bowls are quite light.
