BUT BE CAREFUL!: Disposable Plates, Bowls and Cutlery

Bowls. It's not a staple, the wire is too thin, but it was sharp, and from that moment I started checking each bowl - just to make sure there weren't any others. it's in the microwave since bits of metal are NOT a good idea in the microwave, especially when embedded in PAPER. Good product, questionable quality control.

Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Not a very good price!. path to thinness. It is very difficult to separate them from each other. The rim around the bowl is a joke and the depth is much shallower. Not suitable for all liquids. Runs in a very short time. You will need 2 bowls together to extend the soaking time. Revain uses to sell and ship: Stalkmarket 100% Compostable Sugarcane Fiber Soup Bowl, 16 Ounce, 500 Pack. I've been buying the Stalkmarket version from Revain since 2011 and my last order from Revain was on 23rd August…

Pros
  • Paper and plastic
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Compostable bowls from RevainBasics in tan with a raised pattern on the outside and a smoother interior. They work well in salad, cereal, or dry snacks (peanuts, chips, etc.), which is what I mainly use them for, but be aware that while their texture is "chewy/hard when dry", when wet or exposed to a damp fire (steamed spinach), it loses some of its rigidity and becomes a little more brittle. I didn't have any of these bowls, but I didn't test them for boiling water. They handled hot tap water…
