Easy to set up, dips under load
I'm using this to power a relay and an xbee to build a Zigbee enabled irrigation controller. I have a 40VA 24VAC transformer feeding a buck converter that I have set to 5VDC. It was easy, using a multimeter to set the appropriate voltage to test the output and my fingernail to turn a small screw. I'm deducting a star because when I hooked up the Raspberry Pi 3 I saw the voltage drop under load enough to complain of low voltage.
