Worked great. for the first three months. The photoreceptor suddenly stopped working. I installed it outside and hooked it up to a string of lights that lined the sidewalk to the driveway where we parked. The lens above the photoreceptor seemed really dirty, but after trying to clean it I realized the dirt was in there. The lens is just a disc of plastic stuck on with an adhesive that popped right out, and that's when I discovered that not only was the inside of the lens covered in dirt, but the photoreceptor itself was dirty and even had some sort of green mold growing on it . That. Washed with alcohol still does not work. I can turn it on manually and the mechanical timer function works fine, but nothing with photoreceptors works. So there's no auto-on in the dark and no auto-off at dawn. I think I'll try another brand.
