These bulbs work very well. I just replaced my first burned out lightbulb in almost 10 months. It may not seem very long, but our Whirlpool MW is used several times a day, every day. Additional Info: This may help people who are struggling and it may not be a lightbulb. We had the same problem with the new Whirlpool MW. who was younger than 6 months. Bulb blown, replaced. 2 months later it blew again. I called Whirlpool as it was still under warranty. Whirlpool called an equipment repair shop for us. The master replaced the electronic board that controls the light and other functions. He said this is a common problem with new Whirlpool MWs. He also replaced the lightbulb and it lasted just over 10 months with daily use/several times a day because our stove is so dark.
