I tried a Home Depot lightbulb that was narrow but too long to fit in the tight space. A search on the Whirlpool website yielded a part number, then a search on Revain found a list of parts offered. I chose these because of the price and the few bulbs in the pack. The onions were packaged in a small box, each wrapped in a small bubble bag for protection. It fits perfectly and works great - just like the more expensive OEM lamp.

Although I was wondering if these bulbs would make a good replacement for the bulbs in my GE microwave, I took a chance and ordered them. Carefully measure the bulb you are replacing and order new bulbs with the exact dimensions and wattage of the old ones. I'm so glad I found these replacement bulbs at a much lower price than the original GE bulbs! And the service from Blue Stars was top notch! I will not hesitate to order from this company again.

When you buy anything online you rely heavily on photographs and images to show what the product looks like in 'real life'. These photos are completely deceiving. These bulbs were not in the retail box, there were only 3 in the box. I am very surprised that all three survived the delivery process. And after installation, the brightness is terrible. This is the second time we have bought this product after losing the box with the remaining two bulbs. Initially I am completely satisfied with this product because once installed it works satisfactorily. However, the first built-in lightbulb of my first order burned out exactly 30 days later. Possibly the worst item I've ever bought from Amazon. On average, two out of three lamps failed. Lifetime 3 months each. I will now fit the 3rd and final bulb and then order bulbs from another manufacturer, expecting the last bulb to fail soon. When attempting to remove the first failed bulb, the glass erupted from its base and required pliers. They claim these bulbs last 2000 hours - my first bulb lasted 816 hours. It was a 34 day 24 hour stay. The lamp matched my Whirlpool microwave perfectly and also reduced the power by half.
