This is definitely better sized for kids under 6. The shortest the handle bars will go is 24 inches off the ground. The bars can be expanded to about 30 inches off the ground. It's almost 23 inches long from the tip to back wheels.I didn't realize the front wheels were supposed to light up. One 1 of the wheels in the front works and it looks like only 1 light is coming on in the wheel so it's really hard to see. The other side doesn't light up at all. The back wheel lights up really well. The lights come on by riding the scooter, there's no buttons to push.I like that there's 3 wheels because this will be her first scooter. It stays up even when not in use so it's easy to balance.It was super easy to put this together. It comes almost completely assembled.
