This is exactly what they appear to be but I wish they had different thicknesses. They are clearly too difficult to shave and I couldn't get them to work. My goal was to fully control the movement of the cuffs. I was left with three of them to lose, the fourth didn't fit with either soap or any means I could find. I think it depends on what braces you have but the washers seem to be of good quality. Just wouldn't work for me
